Anna Loses It ♥


I'm a 17 year old teenager who is going through her own weight-loss journey. My name is Anna and I've been losing weight/fat since February 2011. My original UGW was 125 lbs, which I accomplished in the Summer of 2011. Unfortunately, I fell off the healthy band wagon once I joined Cheerleading at the beginning of my Junior school year.; failing to keep the weight off after so many months. After gaining 60% of the weight I lost back, I'm now attempting to lose it again (+ some) and keep it off! Enjoy my blog.

Sat., December 22, 2012: Intake

Breakfast -

  • Fruit smoothie (1 c. OJ, 1 cup Summer trio frozen fruit)

Lunch -

  • Egg omelet w/ mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions (approx. 2 tbsp ketchup)
  • 2 pieces of wheat bread w/ butter, marmalade jam, and strawberry jelly 
  • Fruit salad (bananas, pineapple, watermelon)

Dinner -

  • NONE :(

Snacks -

  • Crunchy Peanut Butter Clif Bar

Tues, April 10 intake

Breakfast -

  • Oikos Strawberry Greek Yogurt
  • Eggs (3) with Mozzarella Cheese // ketchup
  • Water

Intake - April 3

I’ll be editing this throughout the day.

No longer counting calories by the way. Focusing on eating cleaner and healthier. 

Breakfast - 

  • Low-cal french toast (3)
  • Scrambled Eggs 

Snacks - 

  • strawberries
  • Gala apple (1)
  • Fiji apple (1)

Lunch - 

  • Special K cereal, original
  • Almond milk

Dinner -

  • Spinach, egg, cucumber, and spicy ranch salad
  • Scrambled eggs
  • cheese toast

For exercise: Weights for 60 minutes, Elliptical for 20 minutes, Stretching for 5 min.

Intake - 26 March [ Day 1 ]

Not the best day, BUT i’ve made eating progress. I wish I hadn’t made the food choices I did after cheer practice, but I caused it on myself - waiting so long to eat something and all. 

Goals are to slowly get back on track eating wise. And reach 125 lbs by June 30th, 2012. 

Breakfast [5am] - Cheese Streusel Muffin

Lunch [10am] - Egg, Cheese, Potato burrito

Snacks [2pm-3pm] - (2) Cheese Streusel 

Dinner [7pm] - Supreme pizza; minus the meat (1 slice)

Dessert [11pm] - Peach Cobbler, French Vanilla Ice Cream

Wish I only had one muffin, instead of two. That I had eggs for dinner as planned verses the slice of pizza I ate. DEFINITELY wish I hadn’t given into the the peach cobbler dessert. Also drank some powerade today - BIG NO NO. I must stick to only water. 

Tomorrow will be better, it can’t get worse….

March 4th Intake

Still working towards getting my eating habits back to normal. Too many carbs, sodium, and sugar, but overall I’m satisfied. I’m currently working towards learning to eat in moderation and portion control. A habit I’ve lost in the past few months. This is the 3rd day of my new weight loss journey by the way.
